ld.so.conf has the path to the openldap libraries. It builds without
errors (so I claim - I'll give it another shot and pay closer attention
to the logs).
Since I changed the title of the thread, herewith is the error again:
Cannot load /usr/local/apache/libexec/libphp3.so into server:
/usr/local/apache/libexec/libphp3.so: undefined symbol: ldap_get_lderrno
