Basically this error only occurs if there is an internal error... mostly
as a result of failed communication between midgard and MySQL. This seems
however not to be the case on your system.
Maybe we should take a step back, as our search has led to nothing so
far:
What OS are you on,
What version of glib,
What version of expat,
What version of mysql,
What version of apache,
What version of midgard.
And for all these, did you compile from source, or install RPMS, or?
Since indeed I have not encountered anyone having this problemn I am
inclined to think that there is something odd with your particular
installation.

Emiliano, am I correct to think that the internal error could also be
caused by:
pool = mgd_alloc_pool();
if (!pool)
return 0;
(There are more instances of those in the code)
