I was getting the same error, and discovered that I had to set the
default
in:
midgard-db-install.sh
###################################################################
# PLEASE CHANGE ENTRIES BELOW IF THEY DIFFERENT FROM DEFAULTS
###################################################################
# MYSQL administrative user
ADMNAME="myadmin-name"
# MYSQL administrative user's password
ADMPWD="mypassword"
Replace 'myadmin-name' with your mysql admin name
and replace 'mypassword' with your mysql password for admin.
