I installed Midgard 1.4.1 on a fresh rh7.0 system.
Everything went well, untill I tried to actually connect to midgard
(/admin)
apache gives me this log message:
midgard-lib: mgd_connect to midgard@midgard failed: Can't connect to
local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock'
However, when I connect to mysql with the mysql client and the same
credentials, it works with no problem.
When I shut down apache, I get a few of these messages:
[debug] mod_midgard.c(225): Midgard: closing 1 database connections
httpd: à?!@à?!@:3221223452: <³: Assertion
`Linux|midgard.ett.starlab.net|midgard.ett.starlab.net|2.2.16-22|#1 Tue
Aug 22 16:49:06 EDT 2000|i686|127.0.0.163' failed.
So there does seem to be a mysql connection...
Does anyone have a clue?
