ld.so.conf for header files?

well, what can I say? I spend much time with:
1. using 1.2.5
2. installing 1.4 or 1.4.1
That is way I have question:
what version if midgard is more stable and ready for use
after installation 1.4 or 1.4.1?
BTW is repliguard working good now?

And of course how to fix this problem with :
/usr/lib/apache/1.3/mod_midgard.so: undefined symbol: mgd_select_db ?

midgard-lib
 ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/midgard --with-sitegroups
--with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql --with-expat

mod_midgard
./configure --with-midgard=/usr/local/midgard
--with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql --with-expat=/usr/local
--with-apxs=/usr/local/apache/bin/apxs

midgard-data
 ./configure --with-db-admin=root --with-db-user=midgard
--with-db-user-password=midgard --with-db=midgard --with-lang=en
--with-php=4

midgard-php
just mkall with this midgard.h problem
that I solved with copy, but I do not know if I did
right way.
