:-(.  Yeah, you�d enjoy it.  On the other hand, we�ve got an invite to 
something or other in Frankfurt in October.  Could be cool.  Maybe
you can make it to that one.

Actually, good news on the debs front.  A gentleman from T-Online
spoke to us this morning.  Apparently he has debs ready and wants
to contribute them.  That alone was worth coming to the show.

Do you really think it would be _more_ hassle?  All of these packages 
have configure scripts that work reasonably well.  Where Midgard 
installs seem to fail is with inadvertant version mismatches, wrong 
paths, and configuring odds and ends like Apache, and the MySQL 
password.  Installing the whole thing in a known place and loading
a known database with a known password should eliminate all this.

I�d like to give it a shot anyway.  If it doesn�t work then I�ll admit defeat.
