While I haven't yet found a cause for it, it seems to be related with
mysql connections not being closed correctly or timely. I've added a
workaround that will allow you to turn off persistent connects. I
don't quite know what it will do for performance, but the above
message should disappear.
MidgardPersistentConnect Off
It's a global setting, affecting all hosts.
