Old admin does not support SG feature, so You can not log as user*(!)($). I suppose that user You try to log in is not any group's member. Check it and if he is not , add him to any group. To make this You won't be able to use member admin issue , cause it is not for SG0, wchich is root and power admin SG. You may do it with mysql commands or PHPMyAdmin.
