Well I used the time honored trick of sending out an e-mail asking about your problem to fix my midcom install issues.
I had set the password field in the person table to 'password' rather than '**password' like the Aegir docs said.
However Aegir still won't let me in, so I still need help with that. :)
Aegir must be running under FQDN (see the "RH9-RPM compartible with Aegir?" -thread), also register_globals must be turned on (and PHP sessions must work properly).
