Just a quick note to tell you that I've done everything exactly as requested on the install file, and reinstalled apache a couple of times with my sysadmin who is a UNIX guru and wonders how can it be possible that this thing doesn't work.
I've been all over the installation procedure again and I'm still getting the blank page. From the e-mails I got I ain't the only one - but perhaps this list is the wrong place to ask ??? Can someone give me a contact to a Midgard Lite programmer so that I can ask directly and no longer bother you with my little woes. Thanks. All I had to do was to put the pear directory included in my PHP installation in the include_path of my PHP file. Now I'm not getting any error messages anymore... but a blank page ! nothing at all on the screen. Any ideas from where this could come from ? Here's my setup: Sun Solaris 9 PHP 4.3.3 Apache 1.3.28 My Apache/mySQL installation is working normally otherwise. I've set register_globals to ON and configured the midgard_config.class like in the Readme, and else done everything as described in the Quick Installation Guide to Midgard Lite, including the database updates and imports. Does anyone have a clue about what's going on ? I've also started/stopped Apache a couple of times with no results. FWIW, the other CMS we're testing on the same system is working flawlessly... I hope somebody can help me because I REALLY want to give Midgard a chance.
