Frankly, if you have privileges to reinstall Apache, I would suggest going with regular Midgard instead of Midgard Lite.

Well Midgard and Midgard Lite are not very close together ATM. There are just too many things which don't work yet in Midgard Lite.
By the way, I think it's a pity you don't provide a demo site where I could go and have a look at Midgard/Aegir. All I have are some screenshots and the description (besides a few recommendations). If someone's in the market to evaluate a good open source CMS, they definitely should be able to test them online before going on with the cramps of installing. Just my two cents...
