Oh, ok. In that case you won't benefit from the formatting engine.

Anyways, when outputting anything from Midgard
you can use Midgard's formatting engine to do the HTML-entity
encoding for you.

If you're outputting static content I'd recommend you take a
look at Sample Site which has NemeinNavBar at core to match
URL's to content tree (not page tree). Then you will benefit
from both Midgard Templating and Formatting.

Sorry I can't help you with the WYSIWYG-stuff.
