Thanks for the hint, it worked like a charm :-) Is there a similar way to get 
midcom-admin working for two separate websites? My problem is that I have two 
different websites with different domain names but they both belong to the 
same company (they use them as marketing tools for two separate target 
groups). When I initialize midcom, it cannot create the AIS root topic for 
the second site because it already exists. When I make the second site use 
the same ais root as the first, both websites work (i.e. de.linkm.newsticker 
works and the pages are displayed correctly), but logging into www.host3.de/
midcom-admin always displays the information (topics, articles) belonging to 
www.host2.de
