I don't exactly remember where I got this error message, but I also got
it some time.
Try to ensure the following things:
- Is your database set up correctly (user, pw, host)?
- Is midgard-php4 set up correctly?
- Do you use the right midgard-root? I guess this one is the non-mmp
version, and as mmp is the new default, you should use the new
midgard-root.php
