Hi all,
I just did my first install of the Midgard
Framework. As far as I can notice, it went well.
After finishing my installation I've ran
/usr/sbin/ldconfig so SuSE Linux 9 is able to find the
Midgardfiles.
When I tried to restart Apache after that, it
would not run. It doesn't give an error message. It just returns to the
shell and doesn't server any pages anymore.
When I unload mod_midgard Apache runs fine
again.
Unfortunately I'm pretty new to Linux and
completely new to Midgard, so I've got no clue where to start to solve this
problem.
I hope anyone can point me in the right direction.
I use SuSE Linux 9 (no KDE or Gnome), Apache 1.3 and PHP 4.
I've read somewhere on the internet that I should
have removed my existing PHP-installation, because Midgard would install one? Is
that true?
Thanks in advance for any help!
Cheers,
Maarten |
