The blobdir is correct.
The image location is within the blobdir and I have the file (the file's
name is a GUID btw)
And everyone on the system has access to read the file.
I think I am close, thanks Henri. Any other ideas are welcome.

Hello Chris,
The images for the Aegir should come with the package
as db blobs, which are stored into filesystem. So...
1. Check the blobdir directives from your midgard-data.conf.
2. Trace the image, SELECT * FROM blob WHERE name="filename";
3. See location field and trace that to the file in the blobdir.
Also, check the blodir access rights (should be accessible
by apache).
