Don't know, maybe they don't want iframe exploits for internet explorer users. ;-)Apologies for the last gobblygook spit out by MacMail. So much for GUI mail.
Question: why doesn't MARC permit http replies to messages?
<snip>
Could you check which one has files inside?<reply> INCONSISTENCIES: /etc/httpd/midgard.conf has blobdir as '/var/lib/wwwrun/blob'. /etc/midgard/repligard.conf has blobdir as '/var/www/blobs'. A check of files shows no '/var/www/blobs' There is a '/var/www/midgardblobs' and there is also a 'var/lib/wwwrun/blob'
What do I do to fix this?
Simple solution would be to switch your conf in midgard.conf to the one containing the
files. If you don't get the graphics then you have to point repligard.conf to the same
one as repligard.conf and reinstall Asgard and Aegir, which would be a bit
annoying....
You are right about that one. The midgard website has the solution however
2. okay, thats another trick :-) you need to go to your php.in file (located in /etc)
(hmm, have to remember it correctly now.....Piotras, anybody, please correct me if I give wrong information now! )
check wether "register_globals = On" and "magic_quotes_runtime = Off "
<reply>OK, but what about security issues with 'register_globals=On'?
(http://www.midgard-project.org/documentation/installation/aegir, see point 3)
Will check this out, but for now php.ini has been set for 'register_globals=On'
Now restart the server once again (apache).
<reply>Errors. Apache did NOT like linux:/etc/httpd # rcapache restart Shutting down httpd

Apache is working though? What's you ServerName now in apache conf or midgard.conf?
Apache is working, but I cannot call the page from a remote IP. the ServerName has been commented out of '/etc/httpd/httpd.conf' the ServerName in '/etc/httpd/midgard.conf' is set for '192.168.168.173' What do you suggest?
Mike
