Hi,

http://xxxxxxxxx.org in SG1 can't access to SG0/attachments in Aegir).

Ok. right.

AFAIK every SG gets it's own "attachment"-thingy in Aegir-DB..

I don't understand something :
In Aegir, if I upload images to an article (images will be stored in the topic, but it's not the problem), I would like to display selected images in my article (with powerful DHTML UI).
So, in the article, image's URL is /attachment/c59292da4d5e8a49dfc9cb7fa859c97d/f22fba7c86c3240494a35049e16d0bae/folders.gif

So, http://SGO_HOST/attachment will be used to serve that.
As SG0 can't access to my SG1 image, an error would appears ; but not ! I can see a GIF (a pink & rounded bottom left hand corner -> GUID c59292da4d5e8a49dfc9cb7fa859c97d !).

You said my to duplicate /attachment to my SG1. Ok.
But how Aegir will deals with this new page to display images in UI ?
Has prefix precedence on subpage ?
And (!) in Aegir $argv[0] is _always_ c59292da4d5e8a49dfc9cb7fa859c97d ! why ????
(f22fba7c86c3240494a35049e16d0bae is correctly "folders.gif")

Just upload your Image when logged in to SG1. If the image gets attached to a page you can simply call it like this:
<img src="http://sg1_host_name/page_name/img_name.jpg_or_whatever";>

No GUID in the URL !?

Keeping a seperate attachment-entry for every SG makes replication a lot easier tha
throwing them all into one place...

To resume, I copy/paste SG0/attachment code in a new SGx/attachment page ?
but it dosn't solve Aegir problem.. isn't it ?

Thanks a lot for your help Alex.

        Ben (lost in UI).
