Usually Aegir does this without your interference for every SG.
If you look into your host-table there should be a host with prefix /attachments for every SG (even separate ones for staging and live)
it doesn't... I've just 1 row with prefix /attachment in hosts-table, for SG0. I don't use staging/live servers.. I don't know how it works ! (stupid uy ! LOL) note : I upgraded (not easily !) from 1.3.x to 1.4.4/SG. Actual SGs/hosts wasn't created by Aegir.
src="http://sg1_host_name/page_name/img_name.jpg_or_whatever"> No GUID in the URL !?
If I remember correctly there exists this little trick for pages (only)... So if you want to use ist, you will have to attach your image to a page, not a topic or article...
Ok. I think in this I must add little code to retrieve/serve image... So, I upload an image to my page, and ....?
If you want to have them attached to topic/article, you can usually just drag and drop them into the right place... It should automatically contain the right path...
To resume, I copy/paste SG0/attachment code in a new SGx/attachment page ? but it dosn't solve Aegir problem.. isn't it ?
What code? Hope we are talking about the same thing. But just to make sure: do you have a separate entry for your SG1 in the hosts-table? Does this table also contain an entry with prefix /attachment for your SG1-host? (should be id of your SG1-host +1) If so, do the names and ports differ between them? (they should not.)
when I said "code" I mean PHP-code. No entry to prefix /attachment for SG1.
To solve my problem, I shoult create a new host in SG1, same hostname, prefix "/attachment", new root-page copied from SG0/attachment, port 80.
And each SG must have a host with prefix/attachment... Automaticly created by Aegir.
Benoit.
