You do not need add any code if you want to serve images attached to pages. Midgard itself will serve page from database if exists or file and if both fail will check if there is attachment with such name. So , if you create page "abc" for your host , and you upload attachment "myfile.zip" to this page , you will be able get this with simple request: www.mysite.com/abc/myfile.zip.
