1.4 to 1.5 upgrade should not give any hassles at all, though not much
in the way of features either. 1.6 [still in beta] has lots more
features  (some of the more exotic patches have been included to the
main tree and turned on by default), I'd not rush to be the first one to
try the migration out unless I had a proper testing environment
(separate but identical installation).
