include_once can be worked around by having an if around the snippet to
include and set some constant inside.

One can port the nemeinauth library to any PHP based platform with ease
and use same nemeinauth sessions between systems, however this does not

from midgard on the other system, or use PAM on both).

I don't see much sense in this, IMO better to take openpsa and make it
better than start from scratch.
