Mmmhhhh.... I tried again, cross-checking that I was using my midgard database. Datagard still complains about a connection error with the DB (but it does not mention the DB name, so I do not know where exactly is the problem). Of course, I checked that my "midgard" db was reacheable using my "midgard" username and my "midgard" password. It works fine when I access it from the MySQL Client. As a further cross-checking measure, I tried to stop/start Apache2 a few times and to shutdown and restart the PC. No way... :-( The directories under /var/lib/midgard remain empty. Any further suggestion?
