I just have no time to test how such "constelation" could work. In theory I should compile with MySQL 3.x client. In practice with 4.1, which is in theory backward compatible. Debian packages for midgard seems to be "trivial" ones. MUCH work is needed to make them better for three MySQL versions and two Apache's , and soon two PHP.
