Talk with php4-mysql maintainer.
I was trying to do my hacking on the midgard packages rather than the
php packages as it makes deployment simpler.
Shame midgard can't ask php which mysql client libs it was compiled against
It's reported as debian bug AFAIR. php4-mysql was build against MySQL 3.x
clients.
This is "debilized" part of Debian :/
Now I understand. I hadn't realised this. Ugh. Thanks for pointing it out.
