Menno:
I'm the one who created the Mac OS X installer ... Hope i can help
you with you questions.
In terminal:
1. sudo cd /sw ; sudo /sw/bin/mysqld_safe &
2. sudo /sw/sbin/apachectl restart
3. Then, goto safari and type
http://127.0.0.1/aegir/
what do you see ?

Hi,
I' m new to this list and to Midgard. Reading the documentation it
seemed to me that Midgard would be a nice solution to crate and
maintain my website. Sou I installed the package and followed the
instructions for installation on a Apple system. I think the
command that I had to use in terminal mode didn' t work, anyway, I
can't access the administrator pages.
I install midgard.pkg (version 1.7.0 according to the info from
Apple-I) and the OS is OSx 10.4.2 (Tiger with most recent software
update).
I would really appriciate any help, off list if needed.
Kind regards,
