With mysql and apache running, you can now proceed to the next step
of the midgard configuration process -
open the terminal window, type "sudo su" and then follow the steps here:

the passwords you need are as follows:
- mysql root user: root, password: midgard

I tried with all lowercase letters, sorry. I get:
" The requested URL /aegir/ was not found on this server. "
