How do I fix this and I guess the other thing I am wondering is why this
happens with word docs but not PDF (I take it they are handled a little bit
differently).

you need to check the log:
1) search for java -jar ..... jodconvert .....
run this in command line
fix the issue,
run again
etc.

It is jodconverter/openoffice issue (error while generating pdf out of office
document)

Maxim, quick question for ya. When I launch a room and open up a PDF document
it comes up no problem but when I open up a word document I get a big red X
(see attached) and it says DELETED. Would you know the cause of that? I don’t
see anything obvious in the log files, but then I am not sure what I am looking
