Got it working, finally. Problem is I am not sure what fixed it because it
appears that the document files are created when it is uploaded something I did
not find out until yesterday. Re-uploaded another file and it was working then
tried to load the original and it was not so I remove and reloaded and then it
started working. Something to consider, the development team might consider
creating a diagnostic option which will check common things and make sure they
work, mail, jodconverter, etc.

of cause the file is not readable, it wasn't created
you need to take "jodconverter" part of the logs and make it work

How do I fix this and I guess the other thing I am wondering is why this
happens with word docs but not PDF (I take it they are handled a little bit
differently).

you need to check the log:
1) search for java -jar ..... jodconvert .....
run this in command line
fix the issue,
run again
etc.

Is there a way in the command line that I can test those? Changing the path
for office did not fix the issue.

It is jodconverter/openoffice issue (error while generating pdf out of office
document)
please check those

Maxim, quick question for ya. When I launch a room and open up a PDF document
it comes up no problem but when I open up a word document I get a big red X
(see attached) and it says DELETED. Would you know the cause of that? I don’t
see anything obvious in the log files, but then I am not sure what I am looking
for. Thanx.
