I just got a call from my very frustrated wife about our broken home
music playing options (GMusicPlayer on an old Ubuntu laptop that's
constantly getting volume and output device settings wrong).
I will pay money for an app (or OwnCloud support) and order a
dedicated Android tablet *right now* if there is a working system that
will let me play music from my OwnCloud share on such a device.
Complicating factor: Like most OwnCloud users, I have not paid for an
SSL cert.
So I'm on my phone here at work. I have tried Ampache.NET:
Error getting response stream (Write: The authentication or
decryption has failed.): SendFailure
Amdroid crashes:
Unfortunately, Amdroid has stopped.
I see this report that Ampache support has been/may be broken...:

I can use the OwnCloud Android client to download the file, but that's
not really useful.
Does anyone have a solution for this?
