I've long moved my collection to Google Music and play through it on my mobile when driving, on an Android TV stick or Google chromecast connected to a hifi system.
I also have a local copy of my music in case needed, and I can use XBMC to play those tracks. Also give a try to Clementine player. Pretty good. Google Play Music and XBMC on Android are wife approved. Emre
