Hi mparchet, I'm running OC server 8.0.2 at a webhost using the DirectAdmin webcontrol panel and tried to install Contacts 8.0 0.3.0.18. I dowloaded the zip-file from: https://apps.owncloud.com/content/show.php/Contacts+8.0?content=168708 Uploaded this zip-file to the OC server folder: apps Uppacked it there using DirectAdmin and got a subfolder named "contacts" with all files in it. Next I refreshed the OC admin Web UI screen and could enable this app in the "Apps/Not enabled" tab. All works fine.
So unpacking on the server might be a better way. On a previous server version I also used an FTP program to copy all the files for the File Locking app. For some reason I had to do that accurately file by file. But that worked as well.
