Andrey,
I have taken a look at your problem.
Here...
http://www.apconsult.de/projects/persella/TestRawDataPersella_v3.7.jar
...is a Jarfile I've put together.
Basically, I've created a new Function, BDP, for your Bloomberg Excel
Add-In.
To do that, I had to implement the function: Bdp.java, then "register"
it with poi,
which meant extending 2 Textfiles & 1 poi class.
There is also a test class in the Jar, which will open a Dialogue in
your classpath to select the Excel.
Of course, the Jar MUST BE - BEFORE POI - IN THE CLASSPATH.
The Jar was built with JDK v1.5.0 for poi v3.7 & includes all sources.
I'm not sure what the guys on the forum who know what they're doing
think about this approach,
but it worked for me. Only thing is, its difficult to test with my
Office 97 & without Bloomberg!!
The Function certainly inserted values into the cells though...
Maybe it is of some use to you?
Best regards,
DaveLaw
