Great.
I can see the use of a glossary but it is much less important than coming up with a general print strategy that will make it worthwhile to use more of the features of ArguUML. At the moment, I do not use a lot of functions since entering the data is pointless if it can not be extracted for presentation to users.

I hope that the developers are looking a tools like FOP and BIRT or other technologies that will make it easy add new reports or to customize the reports.

Hi Ron,

This is the purpose of the ArgoPrint subproject. I'm working on getting an HTML version of these reports ready together with the glossary feature described here:

 http://argouml.tigris.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=2489

Please use the ArgoPrint issue tracker if you would like to further specify details for this feature.

Thank you.

I am really pleased that over the past 3 or so years, ArgoUML has gone
from marginally useful to a really nice modelling tool that is fairly
easy to use and pretty robust.

I am not an intensive user past the functional spec stage.

My biggest wish is for some capability to record information in the model and actually be able to show it to the client. A MS-Word or OpenOffice document or presentation with the drawing and the associated information would be nice. An HTML version of the model that would allow the users to view the model with its textual information would help. The ability to select the features to extract would be good. Most of the time, I am dealing with non-technical managers and they could not care less about the programming details but would like to see my definition of an Actor or my Description of a Use Case, etc.

Reports:
A report of Actors, listing all the Actors with their properties
A report of Use Cases listing all of the Use Cases with their properties
Reports of individual diagrams

An export of a class diagram to a Hibernate mapping file is a nice little project that would give automatic generation of persistence schemas (SQL DDL) as well as POJO code for the classes through Hibernate.

Just some thoughts
