Howard Henson, author and main contributor of the Jetty-Phoenix component that is currently hosted on mortbay.org, has given me permission to temporarily assume moving his component forward. At one point, McConnell offered me some space in the avalon-sandbox for this project, so I'd like to see if that offer is still open.
The HTTP server component works either in Phoenix or Jetty. Short term roadmap: 1. Get the project in the avalon-sandbox, which includes an Ant build system so everyone can use/build the component 2. Update the project to use the latest version of Jetty (v 4.2.14) and improve some of the user documentation. 3. Update the project to use a maven build system. 4. Update the project to use avalon-meta instead of phoenix-meta (???) Long term roadmap: 1. Await some user feedback to establish some priorities. Let me know if this sound good, and I'm especially curious about getting some avalon-sandbox space.
