Complaining is okay...but unless you volunteer to do the work yourself there's no guarantee it will get anyone anywhere :D
This does sound a bit cynical, don't you think? How is he supposed to write the docs himself, if the reason that he wants them is that he doesn't understand Avalon to begin with? :)
