I do not agree.
It might be possible that the code for incorporating a spellchecker was
not removed. But if I compare Mozilla RC1-based software to the actual
release, I discovered the following differences:
1.0RC1 (like beonex 0.8pre): In the preferences one will find an entry
"Use Spellchecker" that ist greyed out if no spellchecker is installed.
Also there were corresponding options resp. menu entries in Mailnews.
Having installed a spellchecker, it was available, including menu
options in Mailnews.
1.0 final (like beonex 0.8stable): There are no spellchecker-options at
all, independent, what sort of spellchecker ist installed.
So, for me, it looks like that any spellchecker is not available now.
