Hi, using Biomart 0.7 I can retrieve lists of genes together with the GNF/Atlas organ in which the genes are expressed.
I would like to know how the binary "GNF/Atlas organism part" expression is created. Is this binary data (i.e. gene X IS expressed in liver and IS NOT in brain) generated by the Biomart-software? AFAIK, GNF only provides raw expression data. The question has been asked here as well: http://groups.google.com/group/biogps/browse_thread/thread/f9b0823e559b3d46 However, I wasn't able to find an answer to this. Can somebody help?
