Hi Kevin,

I agree with Syed,
perhaps you should first try installing in the environment that has been
extensively tested e.g mac OS X and that you fully control (e.g a laptop).
It will be then easier for you to separate the issues that originate from
your particular server setup from  BioMart itself.
