OK, so it looks to be a fairly standard setup with the compute and login nodes 
running CentOS, using SLURM as a batch system, a gigabit ethernet interconnect, 
and an MPI installation available.  It has 144 Xeon cores across 12 nodes, and 
5.3 GB of RAM per core.  I expect that once the HDF5 problem is fixed, it 
should be possible to get up and running.
