So it looks like SystemD 258 (not yet released) has added *some* SVD support, it doesn't have all of it. See thread on https://github.com/systemd/systemd/pull/36793#issuecomment-3183941910 That's unfortunate, as it means not even the upcoming fall distro releases will support this.
