Hi Leonardo,

I have just finished a project in which I switched from Flowscript to JavaFlow to avoid the Rhino Problems in Weblogic and I have to say it works quite well. Unfortunately I have found some bugs in the Java-Flow implementation. If you want to use ajax-cform widgets that use IFrames in their implementation, you will have to modify cocoon. I would also sugest spliting-up your code in XYZFlow and XYZFlowHelper to avoid some problems with Flow classes (Static stuff, try-catch-blocks in finally blocks, ...).

If you need any assistance here, feel free to contact me.

Regards,
   Chris

yes,

cocoon 2.1.6 on weblogic 8.1

cocoon rhino package has been renamed from org.mozilla.rhino to
org.nozilla.rhino

version used has been rhino 1.5.4 branch, otherwise rhino 1.6.1 should work the
same

  Oggetto: Convert to java flow?

I've never been able to get my Cocoon application running in BEA WebLogic, first with 2.1.7 and now with 2.1.9. I believe the only problem is the incompatibility of the Cocoon and WebLogic rhino*.jar implementations that has been discussed in this list before. I'm thinking a solution would be to convert all my flow script to java flow to remove Cocoon rhino dependency. Does this sound correct? Has anyone attempted this and run successfully in WebLogic? Does ajax in Cocoon forms work with java flow? Thanks, gary
