Hi Tony, > Thanks, Frank, I'm about to install Suse9.3 which has 2.0. But is it a 64-bit > version?
No, there is no 64-bit version of OOo. > From problems with other apps, I think my problem seems to be a > generic one of incompatibility between 32 and 64-bit software. Hmm, may be. I know (since a few days ago :) that for instance on Solaris, it's not possible for a 32-bit process to dynamically load a 64-bit library. Well possible that it's the same on Linux: If your libmyodbc3 is a 64-bit version, then it might well be that OOo is simply unable to load it. (Unfortunately, I do not know how to determine whether a library is 64 or 32 bit) Ciao Frank -- - Frank Schnheit, Software Engineer [EMAIL PROTECTED] - - Sun Microsystems http://www.sun.com/staroffice - - OpenOffice.org Database http://dba.openoffice.org - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
