Hello Kelvin, > I just revisited the multi-column specification for the list box/combo > box and had a thought which may be of use.
thanks for the feedback, and sorry for my late response to it. > I would like to suggest when the "Value List" option is used the user is > optionally allowed to enter the first values as column headings. In fact this is how I would understand the specification. Or, well, this is how I indended to write it, but seems I didn't succeed :-\ Where in the document do you read that this should *not* be the case? > The idea could be extended slightly to include all list types including > the Tablefields. I am not sure which version you're reading. In the original version, the column heads where supported for a limited set of list entry sources, but with 0.2 I extended (well, tried to) this to pretty much what you suggest: No matter where the list entries originate from, the first row will be used as column heads, if the respective property is set to "Yes". > I hope the suggestion is of assistance. There may be some obvious reason > in OpenOffice.org this would not work, but I thought I would put forward > the suggestion. Definately - that's why specifications *are* published :) Thanks & Ciao Frank -- - Frank Schönheit, Software Engineer [EMAIL PROTECTED] - - Sun Microsystems http://www.sun.com/staroffice - - OpenOffice.org Database http://dba.openoffice.org - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
