Agreed. I was not referring to the form layer, but more the Base part
of the API.
The XML/Forms API is pretty new, and its documentation is near to
unusable.

The database/document API is new since OOo 2.0, but should be halfway
good documented, and not limited. Though in some aspects unnecessary
complex, too :-\
OK. I realise that it is still not completely documented, but my
understanding
was that there were still features missing from the API in regards to
Base
functionality? If not, then that is great! As you say, it may just be
that the
documentation does not exist yet.
