Okay, let me do the complete thing ;)

We could ask the person who's in charge of the number formatting
implementation. That's what I tried (for me this would be a phone call
only :), but unfortunately all who could know seem to prefer vacation
over work currently.

Alternatively, we could ask the same question in, say, [EMAIL PROTECTED], since
chances are good that there are more knowing people.

Finally: Valden, if you want this feature to be implemented, I strongly
encourage you to submit an issue in IssueZilla, type ENHANCEMENT. This
is the only way to ensure that it doesn't get lost over time.
