Hi Andrew,
Now, for a question. Who does do the marketing work for Base? Is there such a thing as a marketing contact for a module within OOo or is it treated only as a whole?

There is no dedicated Base marketing. Also, I do not know if the
marketing project as a whole has a sub section or person dedicated to
Base. I suppose [EMAIL PROTECTED] could answer this.

Thanks for all the humor :-)
Besides that: the marketing project (in which I'm speding part of my energy) doesn't have sections for various modules of OOo.

As I see the marketing project evolve, it's focusing on obvious targets for 'main public', as shown in recent campaigns such as http://why.openoffice.org/getlegal.html and http://why.openoffice.org/keepthecar.html This all beside all other activities, reg. boots, presentations, materials, et cetera.

However, when some good opportunity turns up (let's say: OOo is able to handle full Access-applications, preferably in combination with a decision of MS to change its format in 2007 :-) ) the marketing project won't hesitate to pick it up.
Also other (less unlikely) reasons, may result in extra attention.

Greetings,
Cor
