Hi Detlef, >>which probably means that in the properties of the control, "Multiline" >>(Mehrzeilig) is set to "True"? > > How can I navigate to the 'control' you hav in mind? After having > selected that 'control' would I have to right-click it in order to > obtain its properties?
First switch off the design mode (there's an icon for this in both the "Kontrollelemente" (Form Controls) and "Formular-Entwurf" (Form Design) toolbars. Then, simply double-click the control in question, or select "Control..." from its context menu. The property browser which opens then will show you, on the page named "General", show you a property "Text-Typ" (sorry, I confused this: It's *not* "Multiline", but a text type, which can be "single line", "multi line", and "multi line with formatting"). > I can do and will do this next week. Thanks.
