So I wanted to run it by them here first. Not to mention how all this
is going to play in with the Documentation area on the wiki,
particularly the How to section which has a separate category for
Base ( or is it Database ? ), and this almost falls more into a How
to I think.
Right now that would mean moving two pages MS Access and MySQL into
the new structure.

I agree with that scheme of distribution, I also think that Base
should be a better name than Database which could be misleading with
Calc database although the Component on IssueZilla for Base is also
Database.
We'll see what is their decision. I would also want a more graphical
representation of the processes for base. Since this is thought to be
a more end-user documentation as opposed to developer one.
For the specific matter of drivers, images might not be needed, but
for more end user one we would want to think about how to design the
screen shots.
hmmm...yes, I like screen shots.
You know - if you are looking to do some work on documentation, there is
plenty to be had on the Base Users Guide. At the moment there is really
nothing more then an outline and that isn't really settled yet, so far
one person has said they would work on the first and second chapters,
one has said they might work on the chapter about using scripts with the
database file, but no one has mentioned wanting to look at the chapters
on using Base with the other modules ( writer and calc )...just thought
you might be interested in taking a look at it? *big grin*
