Well, it looks like I scared off the fellow asking about this on the users mailing list ( actually he sent a reply that pretty much says just that ). I used to many 3 letter acronyms I think.

However, on the Forum there is a user successfully running a 5 user Base application against MySQL in his small business. I have sent email to him asking if he would be willing to give an email interview about his setup, problems he had, how he got around them and experiences now that the application is up and running in the company. I expect that he will be willing. I think the results of our exchange would be the basis for the wiki page that was mentioned.

Secondarily, he is now posing questions on the Forum about converting the whole operation from MS Windows ( current network is 100% MS ) to Linux. It would appear that this Base application was the mission critical piece missing for him to look at the move away from MS.

So - There may be a migration story here with a broader interest base then just the Base lists.
